Larkbury London didn't exist before this project. I built it from scratch - brand identity and a fully responsive ecommerce site designed solo across 700+ artboards and seven viewports.

Larkbury London brand hero

The challenge

The brief was to create a luxury interiors brand from the ground up, and to do it in a way that could hold its own in the high-end market.

The scope covered everything from foundational brand decisions through to a production-ready ecommerce build. Seven viewports meant designing for every context a customer might encounter the brand, ensuring the luxury positioning held whether someone was on a large desktop or a phone.

The process

Seven hundred artboards, one designer.

I owned the design system first - components, patterns, and tokens that could scale across 700+ artboards without becoming inconsistent. That foundation made it possible to work at pace while keeping the experience coherent across every template, state, and interaction needed for handoff. The design language was deliberately restrained - typography, whitespace, and imagery carry the brand rather than feature density.

The outcome

Restraint doing the heavy lifting.

Larkbury London launched and the finished product reflects the ambition of the brief - a brand and digital presence that feels genuinely considered from first touchpoint to last.
